We just spent a long weekend in Melbourne. For a change, we didn’t do much in terms of doing touristy stuff in the city. Instead we took things as leisurely as possible. The only goal in Melbourne was to watch Once The Musical and spend time with my high school friend whom I haven’t seen in 20 years. Sunday was when we turned tourists as another friend took us to see the Twelve Apostles which took us the whole day of driving along the Great Ocean Road.

Victoria, you are beautiful as you glisten in the Sun
I will share my stories of our Melbourne visit in separate blog posts but for now, I want to take this moment to thank two lovely women who made our stay more memorable, Mara and Lui. Our short getaway was unplanned so we were grateful that our friends had time to see us given the short notice.
The end of 2014 is just around the corner. The Husband and I are grateful for the travels we had this year. After our Sydney staycation two months ago, I put away all our luggage and travel paraphernalia. But a certain twist of fate brought us one last chance for a quick getaway. We’re very grateful not just for the places we’ve been but the special people whom we’ve spent time with.
